BEGINNING OF CHAPTER 0



I don’t know why am I doing this, but I am pretty sure that one day or the other I had to do this. I tried a lot of avenues to explain my feelings. Explaining it to my parents, my brother, my wife, friends and so on but ultimately I believe a man’s best friend is the man himself. Sorry for change in the proverb / phrase and also the gender element that has simply crept in the words. Nonetheless, the truth remains the same and every person has to speak to itself. As somebody said, in LIFE, F is the only FACT, remaining is a LIE. This “fact” refers to the fact that we belong to the species where the “mind” works, speech is available and beyond everything, it has a cr “eat”ive thinking ability, which eats the species itself. Keeping all these thoughts aside for some time, I need to make myself clearer. All the while my thoughts remained to myself but of no use. So many thoughts I wanted to look back and wanted to link together are unavailable today. I hope this platform solves this problem, if not anything else. My thoughts centered on various matters have simply remained in a virtual world of my own, as everybody creates ( I suppose) and proof wise they are “0”. Well, I like the numeral 0. First of all, I have a basic doubt from my childhood, whether “0” is a numeral at all. If it is not number, then what else? An alphabet, a character or simply man made creation to show the unknown, unfathomable and unimaginable. Since I want to know myself more clearly, this series is termed as “sunilosophy” and this part I baptized “beginning of chapter 0”. For which I never expect any end of course. Credit should go to every person who made me embark on this. It would be very great failure on my part if I won’t acknowledge to atleast one person. Well he dates back to 606-647 AD of this sub-continent (name only), but he lives in the present and future too. This much anonymity is again a credit to the same person. Why I want my SMART one to be IDIOT again

As a kid, in 80s and early 90s, I remember waiting eagerly for Doordarshan programmes to begin, in the morning. Early in the morning, listening to "Vande Mataram", so melodiously sung, and watching the beautiful video, it made my day. The time was so perfect, that all our activities were linked to its broadcast, and I don't remember even a single deviation. The morning programmes, the feature of A FACE IN THE CROWD, etc. correctly defined "infotainment". Evenings, the entire family would watch the "News" together, followed by serials, which were definitely completed in a limited number of episodes. No useless fighting scenes, no show off, the serials used to depict characters, which every one could identify in the real life. Polishing the Police-A Reform in a different perspective

Yama: Hi, you know the police people are like that. With lot of tensions and stress, they work and hence they do not understand the things better. Corruption has become part of life and they cannot avoid it. Its shameful to submit but this is the truth.
